/{workspaceSlug}/settings/profile, labelled My profile. It shows who you are in this workspace, what the workspace records about you, and how you want to be notified.
It is the first item in Settings and the only settings page with no permission check. Everyone is entitled to their own record, so no role or capability can hide it from you.
How to open it
1
Open the account menu
Click your name and picture at the foot of the sidebar.
2
Choose Profile
The menu opens your profile at
/{workspaceSlug}/settings/profile.What is on the page
The header shows your picture, your name, your role, your email address, and an access label when your access is not a plain Active.
Under the header are three tabs: Profile, Employment and Notifications. The tab you are on is kept in the address, so you can bookmark or share a link to one tab.
The Profile tab
Account
One card, with your picture, the email address you sign in with, and a Manage account button. Your photo, name, email addresses, password and sign-in security belong to your sign-in provider, not to TimeTracker. Manage account opens the sign-in details window where you change them. See Change your password. If you have uploaded a picture inside TimeTracker, the card says so and offers Use my account photo. An uploaded picture always wins over the one from your sign-in provider, so changing your picture with the provider does nothing until you switch back.
Product tour
A card with Replay the tour, a guided walkthrough of the areas you can use. It only appears when your tour has stops in it, which depends on your role and which apps the workspace has switched on.Delete account
The last card on the page, and deliberately so. It closes your account across every workspace you belong to. See Delete your account. The Employment tab
This is what the workspace records about you. Every field here is read-only. An admin maintains it on your member record, so ask them if something is wrong.
An empty field shows a dash, so a blank box never reads as a field that failed to load.
Changing any of these needs the
member.changeRole capability, which Owners and Admins hold. They are not cosmetic: groups and manager drive capacity reporting and who can see your work. The Notifications tab
Two cards: the grid of what reaches you and where, and your three daily reminders. Full detail is in Your notification settings.Your workspace record
Two of your details are cosmetic, and you may change those yourself. They live on your member record, not on this page.1
Open your record
Open the account menu at the foot of the sidebar and choose My record.
2
Set your picture
Under Profile picture, click Upload or Replace. Use a PNG, JPEG, GIF or WebP image no larger than 5 MB. Remove clears it.
3
Set your display name
Type into Display name. Leave it blank to use your account name instead.
4
Save
Click Save. The new name and picture show everywhere in this workspace at once.
member.changeRole.
Who can see what
Example
Sarah Lin is a Member at Northwind Studio. She opens My profile and sees her role listed as Member, her job title as Senior Designer, her group as Design, and Priya Raman as her manager. All of it is greyed out. Sarah wants a new photo. She opens My record from the account menu, uploads a picture, and clicks Save. Her new face appears in the sidebar, on the roster and on her tasks straight away. Her joining date is wrong by a week. She cannot fix it, so she asks Tom Whitfield, an Admin, to correct it on her member record.Common questions
Why can I not edit my job title?
Why can I not edit my job title?
Job title, employment type, employee ID, dates, groups and manager are the workspace’s record of you, not your own settings. They feed capacity and cost reporting, so only an admin may change them.
I changed my photo with my sign-in provider and nothing happened.

You have a picture uploaded inside TimeTracker, and an uploaded picture always wins. Open My profile and click Use my account photo to switch back.
I belong to two workspaces. Is my profile the same in both?
I belong to two workspaces. Is my profile the same in both?
Your account details are the same, because they belong to one login. The Employment tab is per workspace, so your role, job title, groups and manager can differ. Switch workspaces at

Can an admin hide this page from me?
No. It is the one settings page with no permission check.
