There are two plans: Free and Pro. Pro is a single tier on two cadences – monthly or yearly. There is no enterprise tier, no add-on tier and no per-feature pricing.

The plan structure

Current prices live on the TimeTracker pricing page. The billing page in the app also shows the live price for your seat count before you pay.

How pricing is charged

Per person with access. The bill follows the number of people who can sign in to the workspace, not the number of projects, clients, hours or invoices. The price shown in the app is the amount before tax. VAT or GST is added at checkout where it applies, so the checkout total can be higher than the figure on the plan card. The exact total is always shown before you pay.

Monthly or yearly

Both cadences unlock exactly the same features. The only difference is how often you are charged. You can switch cadence at any time from Settings → Plan & billing.

What Free includes

  • Time tracking
  • Projects and tasks
  • Timesheets
  • Clock in and out
  • Time off
  • Expenses
  • Reports

What Pro adds

  • Approvals
  • Planner
  • Location rules
  • Invoicing
  • Payments
  • Budgets
  • Profitability
  • Client portal
  • Advanced reports
  • Integrations
  • Exports
Reports is on every plan. Free workspaces can build and read reports. What Pro adds is the depth – custom report definitions, scheduled reports and downloading a report as a file.

Trials

Your first workspace starts on a 14-day trial of Pro, with every paid feature on. The trial is tied to you as a person, so a second workspace you create starts on Free instead. The billing page shows the exact number of days left. When the trial ends, the workspace moves to Free and nothing is deleted.

Example

Northwind Studio has 12 people. Maya compares the two cadences on the billing page:
  1. She switches the toggle to Yearly and reads the total for 12 seats.
  2. She switches back to Monthly and reads that total.
  3. She picks yearly, because Northwind’s client work is steady and she would rather pay once.
Later Northwind hires a 13th person. The seat count rises to 13 and the next invoice reflects it – Maya does not have to buy a seat by hand.

Permissions

Seeing or changing the plan needs the billing.manage capability. Owners and admins hold it by default. It can be granted to a custom role. Everyone else can still use the workspace normally. When they reach something their plan does not include, they see a message naming the feature and telling them to ask an owner or admin.

Common questions

Compare the two totals on the pricing page or on the billing page in the app. The app shows live prices for your exact seat count.
Our payment provider resolves the currency and any regional pricing at checkout. The total you see on the checkout screen is what you pay.
Yes. A portal contact is a login, so it counts. See Seats.
No. Pro is one bundle. Every paid feature comes together.
The app asks our payment provider for the live price. If that call fails, the page says so rather than showing a number that might be wrong. The exact amount is still confirmed at checkout.
